The documentary department of H5B5 Media AG produces one-hour scientific documentaries on a single theme which appeal to a wide audience. The key facts from the latest international research and scientific discoveries are presented in a entertaining and comprehensible manner. There is no other television and documentary production company in Germany to compare with H5B5.

Our productions are aimed at an international audience and match the world-wide recognised standards of the two global players, the BBC, England, and Discovery Communications, USA. Film, video footage, high-speed and finger camera work, 3D computer simulation and sound effects are all used.

Up to now six documentaries are being sold under the "Welt der Wunder" label: "Black Holes", "Monsters and Myths", "Genetic Engineering", "Aliens", "Brain Sex" and "Nanotech". The excellent style of all six productions strengthens the "Welt der Wunder" brand name and H5B5 Media AG. There is also an interactive version of each documentary on DVD, both in German and English.

Our debut in international competition came in October 1999 at the MipCom in Cannes: that is where we presented the company to the international television market for the first time as an innovative and reliable partner in the international documentary business alongside the BBC and Discovery Communications.
