The Format

"Welt der Wunder" is the first documentary magazine on German television. Ever since 10th March 1996, "Welt der Wunder" has been delighting viewers on ProSieben with the best pictures in the world. Every Sunday evening from 7 p.m. to 7.55 p.m., breath-taking natural phenomena, fascinating insight into the animal world and the unique results of research are made comprehensible for viewers. "Welt der Wunder" offers "research which is accessible". "Welt der Wunder" is the television adventure for the whole family. Milestones in the success story of "Welt der Wunder" include awards such as the Bavarian Television Prize in 1996 and a silver and a bronze BDA Promax award in 1997 for the 3-D simulation and the presentation.

The Movie Makers

Presenter Hendrik Hey is center stage in every broadcast. He presents the exciting subject matter in the fields of technology, nature and science from the "Welt der Wunder" studio and he is fully involved in the production process as a full-blooded journalist. No expense is spared in the production of "Welt der Wunder".
12 producers and 6 assistant producers are busy researching the four main themes in every broadcast and the special "Welt der Wunder" elements: "wonder of the week", "theme of the week" and the "viewer's question". The motivated, professional team guarantees that viewers watch a high-quality format every time.
